We are here to become a part of your journey while at UWO. Please come as you are and know that we love to make Newman your home away from home. We often have people from all walks of life come here, from atheists and agnostics, to beginners, to very engaged and committed Catholics.
Our hope is to walk with you in building authentic friendships through discipleship (mentorship). We hope to offer you true freedom in Christ by affirming your identity as a beloved son or daughter of God. We do this with the awesome help of the Holy Spirit, proclamation of the Gospel, prayer, the Sacraments, and more.
Starting with the first day of classes on September 8, we have Masses on Sundays at 11:07 am at Most Blessed Sacrament (St. Peter’s Church at 449 High Avenue, a couple blocks from campus) and at 7:07 pm at the Newman Center; Tuesdays at 5:07 pm followed by a free meal at 6:00 pm; Wednesdays at 9:07 pm; Thursdays and Fridays at 12:37 pm; and Saturdays at 11:07 am. We have Confessions 30 minutes before every Mass and Eucharistic Adoration 1 hour before weekday Masses.
We offer a wide variety opportunities to study, eat, chill, play sports, workout, pray, etc. with a healthy balance of fun, community, and rest. Please swing by for a bonfire or coffee or some pizza.
I pray you have a transformative school year and you take the risk by joining our community each week. We are here for you.
To Jesus through Mary,
