proclaiming the good news of Jesus Christ!

We are friends and followers of Jesus, devoted to building a community of discipleship at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh through the ministry and mission of the Catholic Church.

As missionary disciples, we will lead all people to the Kingdom of Heaven.

The University of Wisconsin Oshkosh has moved online, and so have we!

Bible studies for students, faculty, and staff continue online, as does student discipleship, vocational discernment, and spiritual direction. While we cannot gather in person for Mass or Adoration (and the Newman Center is currently closed), we are gathering by Zoom. Contact us and like our Facebook page for more information about how to get connected!

May God bless and keep you, and let us hold each other in prayer!

Discover Jesus. Encounter Jesus. Faith only begins with an encounter with Jesus Christ. It is the work of the Holy Spirit. Through the encounter, we enter into a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

Faith is not the "result of an ethical choice or a lofty idea, but the encounter with an event, a person, which gives life a new horizon and a decisive direction" (Pope Benedict XVI).

Follow Jesus. Worship Jesus. Once we discover Christ, Jesus said to the disciples and says to us, "Come after me" (Matthew 4:19). Following Jesus means having the mind of Jesus Christ and sharing his life.

Following Jesus doesn't happen alone, but in a faithful community. This is fellowship: students helping each other to follow Jesus. In this fellowship, we worship Jesus.

Share Jesus. After Jesus rose from the dead and met his disciples in Galilee, he give them this order, "Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit" (Matthew 28:19).

Jesus started a Church. This Church has the mission of letting all people know that God loves them and wants the best for them now and for all eternity.
